What we collect
Only what intake, human review, milestone tracking, and matching need: your profile and venture details, milestone evidence you upload, an optional intro video, and — if a partner referred you — attribution for that referral. We do not collect more than the workflow you're using requires.
Consent
Video review, sharing your profile with an angel/advisor, and partner attribution all require your explicit, separate consent. Consent and data-access events are logged so we can account for who saw what and when.
Who sees your data
Admin reviewers see your full profile for human-reviewed readiness assessment. Angels/advisors only ever see a consent-scoped readiness view — never raw reviewer notes, confidence ratings, or an internal valuation. Contact details unlock only after both sides agree to a connection. We do not sell your data.
Retention & deletion
Videos and documents are retained only as long as needed for active review or a documented legal obligation; default retention for inactive founders is short. Email info@maajii.ca any time to request deletion of your data.
Security
Data is hosted in Canada (AWS ca-central-1), behind role-based
access controls and audit logging, with encrypted storage and signed,
time-limited links for any document or video access.
No automated decisions
Maajii does not use automated deception, character, or trustworthiness scoring, and does not make access, matching, or investment-adjacent decisions from automated behavioral, facial, or tone analysis. Every readiness assessment is completed and published by a human reviewer.
